Does Employee Empowerment as a Mediating Variable the Linking of Transformational Leadership on Employee Performance?

This study aims to investigate whether employee empowerment (EE) as a mediator variable of the mechanistic pathway transformational leadership (TL) influences performance (EP). A quantitative method was employed. The samples were 109 employees regional companies in Magetan City, East Java and collected from questionnaires. SEM-PLS employed for data analysed. results showed that directly affects performance. Work motivation has role mechanisms Meanwhile, does not have path on mediating is still contradictory. Therefore, investigation mechanism recommended future research.
